We are currently seeing unprecendented event cancellations, and more importantly, health concerns now during the current Covid-19 (corona virus) pandemic. Wedding planning during corona virus pandemic can be very stressful since we don’t know tomorrow, but we wanted to share tips on managing risk as much as you can, and share what we are doing now during this pandemic.
1. We continue to have wedding planning meetings virtually – To protect our clients and our teams, the majority of our wedding planning meetings will continue to be held via video chat. A limited number of tastings, site visits and other meetings for 2020 meetings will continue where needed
2. We are working closely with clients with wedding dates within the next 45 days to consult through the decision to cancel or continue with your event. There are many elements at play, and there is no one-size fits all answer to any of these questions. Local government ordinances, the venue location and more will be taken into account
3. We will drive to weddings in our local areas of Washington DC and New York to lessen the possibility of transmission via public transportation.
4. We are working closely with vendors and vendor partners to look into their safety precautions around food service, beauty services and more and will share this with each of our clients to help ease your mind and provide transparency on how all vendors are working to keep you safe.
Your safety is our top priority and though times are uncertain, we are working our hardest to keep our clients safe and informed during this period. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and we can’t wait to celebrate with you soon!
