We were honored to plan and design Chi-Chi and Ifeanyi’s beautiful Southern Chic wedding this past April and we are excited to share a few of the lovely photos taken by Fotos by Fola, an Atlanta Wedding Photographer. This Nigerian Wedding at Martin’s Crosswinds was so much fun to work on! The bride is from Atlanta, and though she had her Nigerian Wedding in Maryland, she chose to bring out lots of southern charm through her color scheme, favor selection and overall style. We LOVED pulling everything together in the decor and through the overall timeline planning for the day. Enjoy the photos below!!
One of my FAVORITE parts about this wedding was the couple’s church!! St. Anne’s in Annapolis is a gorgeous church. They made sure to let me know that one of their must haves for the wedding was that they had to get married in their home church and find a reception venue nearby as soon as they booked me. And I totally understand why!
We loved designing Chi-Chi and Ifeanyi’s wedding reception! We also loved how happy they were with the result! We used unique, deep green hydrangeas, paired with white hydrangeas, amaranthus and green roses for these lush, southern chic centerpieces. We also created a canopy for their sweetheart area with our Mr & Mrs sign in front! Finally, we placed their cake on a clear, illusion stand surrounded by flowers to create a floating cake effect.
They definitely felt the love during their grand entrance surrounded by family and friends!! I just love this shot by Fotos by Fola.
And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without a change of clothes. I must say that their traditional outfits took the cake. The bling and fits were perfect!!

Working on this wedding really was an honor. Chi-Chi and Ifeanyi were both new to the area when they enlisted our services, and its always great when clients trust us to help them get familiar with venues in the area and to plan an awesome wedding! Their personalities were awesome, and they are both super smart! Ifeanyi is a doctor and Chi-Chi is a nurse. It was amazing getting to know them both and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them!
