Statuesque Events was so honored to be a part of the 3rd Annual FACE Africa Gala which was held in New York City for the first time this year. Feyisola of Statuesque Events served as the decor and productions coordinator for this event, coordinating the layout, production specs, well auction and the decor specs for the event. We are pleased to share that this year’s gala raised close to $150,000 for clean water projects in Liberia!
Quddus was the amazing host of the evening and worked alongside Saran Kaba Jones, the director of FACE Africa to keep the guests engaged and inspired to give! There was also an award presented to Lisa Lovatt Smith, founder of OrphanAid Africa for her tireless work for change in Africa. The evening also featured a silent auction for beautiful African artwork by Aroza Arts over the beautiful sounds of the jazz band. We were also pleased to host a brunch reception for the 2012 FACE Africa honoree, Lisa Lovatt Smith on Friday morning. Brunch was served for an intimate crowd in Le Petit Salon of St Regis Astor Court. The event was covered by French TV as well as AminAmeen Photography.
