illusion neckline by romona keveza

Munaluchi Bridal Magazine provided great coverage for Bridal Market earlier this year, which unveiled 2014 wedding dress trends from top wedding designers such as Monique Lhuillier, Ines Di Santo, Oscar de la Renta, Amsale and more. You can check out their favorite looks here.

One of the common trends across designers was the “illusion neckline” which in essence is a low neckline, covered by a sheer fabric to create a higher neckline. There are a few benefits to a style like this:

  • Don’t have to worry about pulling up your strapless dress on your wedding day.
  • You may be able to eliminate the need for a bolero during a ceremony at a church/temple.
  • You can achieve a sweet, but sexy look all at once!

There are many other shots of different illusion necklines, and other great 2014 trends from Bridal Market here.
